MC Fire and Security - A New Beginning
Mike Chilman founded MC Fire and Security as a sole trader, following his employment with a large national Fire Protection company.
Mike started MC Fire and Security by purchasing a new green VW Caddy van, set up an account with a fire extinguisher importer, bought the required tools and set up from home servicing Fire Extinguishers. He concentrated on developing a client base, which he valued enormously. He provides outstanding service to these customers and this quality of service is what the business has been built on. This ethos still exists right throughout the company to this day.
First Employees
Mike employed his first fire extinguisher engineer, which enabled Mike to spend more time developing a customer base, while still running the office and providing fire surveys and consultancy work.
At the same time, Mike employed the first secretary, who initially worked from the home office, before the company moved into its first office in Telford Road, Bicester.Soon after, Mike employed the first salesperson and invested in his business car. The business was growing, and MC Fire and Security needed a salesperson to help to handle this growth seamlessly.

The next step was the purchase of Rapid Response Fire Company, who was a local fire safety company, who had got into financial trouble. This included some superb clients, who we still value as long-term customers to this day, as well as some excellent employees who are key members of the MC Fire and Security team today.MCFP Moves Into A New Office
